At M2Mobi, we no longer see Android as a Mobile OS of the future. With the release of Android 2.2 “Froyo”, Android has become a mature platform, adopted by many users and an increasing number of handsets. We feel this will only increase in the upcoming years; Android is here to stay. Therefore we have invested heavily in our knowledge of the platform and how to develop for it. Android is interesting because contrary to iPhone it is a very open platform. There are already many libraries to easily get the most out of the phones’ capabilities.
Android applications are distributed through the Android App Market.
