The future's wholesaler


With over 50 branches and 8 distribution centers in the Netherlands, Sligro is the market leader in food service. From small and large-scale catering establishments to company restaurants and gas stations: everyone can go to Sligro for a complete range, consisting of more than 75,000 items.

It is a deep-rooted passion for food that has made Sligro the leading wholesaler for food professionals. Sligro strives for constant and controlled growth as a quality-company. M2mobi was asked how mobile can play a role in achieving this goal. And how can we use mobile in the customer journey to attract more customers to the stores?

To get an answer to these questions, we first delved deeper into Sligro's current customer journey. Based on qualitative interviews with both customers and employees, we were able to map the customer journey from A to Z. In addition, a series of workshops with Sligro enabled us to come up with a number of concepts. Clear concepts in which mobile plays an essential role in the customer journey.
